President Jeremiah

Hello, my name is Jeremiah and I am the Berlin Community School student government president. Ever since 5th grade I’ve wanted to be class president and when I finally had the chance to run last year, I seized the opportunity. Now I’m class president and I feel as though that was a huge accomplishment. I plan on changing the world by being successful enough to have money in order to help those in need. As of now, I am the manager for the school soccer team and that has taught me to be more responsible. In past years I have participated in the Battle of the Books where one year I helped lead my team to first place. When I go to high school, I'm going to take the honors classes and I plan to do well. I might also try out for football because I like football. A couple more things to know about me is that I love chocolate and engineering. I also like to stay different than the crowd.

Vice President Eli

Hi, my name is Eli  and I am the Vice President Of the 8th grade student council. I also participate in concert and jazz band, I am the Vice President of the National Junior Honors Society of BCS, and I am a Student Ambassador. I ran for this position because I already had much leadership experience in the past. I wanted to make sure that the students’ voices were heard by allowing for their insight on events such as dances. I wanted to be, as I said, “the voice of the students.”

I wish to change the world through the fields of entertainment. Although I plan to work for my father’s construction company when I grow up, my dream job is to be a musician. I wish to create music that is comforting to listen to, because I know that that is what I need when I am feeling down. Although I plan to take courses in high school that would allow me to gain the necessary education to become a construction worker like my dad, I may also study musical composition to allow me to write music for fun or even for a living. Overall, I wish to make sure that my music will allow people to be comforted in the world that we live in.

Treasurer Ariel

Hello, my name is Ariel and I am the treasurer of the BCS Student Government Association. I love to dance, travel, and be in musicals. In high school, I plan to keep working hard to achieve my academic and career goals. I would also like to continue my dance and musical theater training to develop my performance skills. I am in Peer Mediation Club, Yearbook Club, and National Junior Honor Society. For two years, I was on the BCS Cheerleading Team. My 8th grade elective is musical theater, and I will perform in two concerts and our spring musical, High School Musical. I am a dancer at Lowe Dance Studio and attend musical theater camp every summer at Summerstage. I am a member of BBYO, an internation Jewish youth organization.

I am going to change the world by standing up for what I believe in and always trying my best to demonstrate the Six Pillars of Character. I am so excited to embrace my role as the BCS Student Government Treasurer!
